Our Two Abbyssinian Kitties, Leo and Bear, are Wonderful Friends and Pals to our Family
We adopted a 3 month-old Abbyssinian kitten, Leo, in June.
Our cat, Bear, is over 10 years old now.
Bear really disliked the new kitten for the first few months, but he seems to be adjusting now. He still doesn't like getting jumped on by the ever-playful, Leo.
Fortunately for Leo, there are plenty of other playful creatures in the house.
The kids enjoy giving Leo exercise every day.
...not that Leo even needs people to exercise! This December he took all the boys' paper snowflakes off the sliding glass doors. He's quite the jumper!
Bear has actually been caught chasing Leo lately, but he prefers to take his exercise hunting lizards in the garage. As a 10 year indoor cat, he finally made his first kill... this poor lizard. He decided to bring it in and show off!
The kitties have plenty of caretakers. The kids like to help feed and water them.
The kitties even get involved in homeschooling! Math is their specialty.
They're obviously not much help during reading time!
We are all happy to hold a sleeping kitty!
They definitely get sleepy living in this busy house!
