This Fall We Took a Patriotic Field Trip to the Homecoming of Parapalegic Vet Joey Bostik.
An organization in Wake County has begun to help disabled veterans by building homes for some of them. Joey and his wife were the happy recipients of the first one.
Men and aircraft from the 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC came up for the occasion.

Julie's brother, Mark, was one of the pilots in the blackhawk helicopters that flew over and landed near the neighborhood.
Uncle Mark and the other pilots were happy to let the kids check out their helicopters. Georgia is Brendan's homeschool co-op buddy.
Kaitlin, Henry, and Caleb also got to check out the helicopters. Henry is Georgia's brother.
